News From the Mission Field

Dee Donalson is a missionary Mitch and Karen know and have prayed with in Ethiopia. She has spent time connecting with local people who do not speak English and has taught herself their language - Amharic. She is from Florida and is quite the pioneer, living as the only white person on the Bible school campus and maybe the only white in the whole town of Hosanna, Ethiopia. Hosanna indeed!!

Dee is 66 years old and yet was not too old or too proud to begin anew last year - switching from Project Mercy to a Baptist organization which required months of intense training. She felt that she needed to go to the Hosanna Bible College where there was more of a need for her expertise in training teachers. Thank God for his many servants who keep on keepin' on and make our world a better place!

It is the hope and dream of Karen & Mitch to visit Dee and bring along to Hosanna a construction team who can repair and build housing for married students and do whatever else needs to be done. Please pray for teams to be sent to this holy place where Christ is revered and worshiped, where young Christian believers are schooled in Bible studies and evangelism. To God be the glory!
